Quick trip to Columbus

Chez's post about her trip to New Jersey inspired me to report on Mom's and my trip to Columbus this past week. It was a brief visit and so a brief report. We have wanted to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a while, and then Mom lost an inlay from one of her teeth, so she made an appointment with Uncle Joe the Dentist and drove down. Getting out of town on Monday was a bit complicated, but we got down to Columbus by dinnertime.

We got to visit a bit with Liz and with Jen, and Mom got to talk to Joe. The best part was Grandma and Grandpa and Mom and I playing euchre Monday evening and again on Tuesday afternoon. We had a great time. We should do that more as a family when we get together.

We had to drive back Tuesday evening, so it was a quick trip. We will be making an even briefer one in a couple of weeks to finish Mom's dental work.
